{"id":7998664,"date":"2026-04-12T13:44:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T20:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/?p=7998664"},"modified":"2026-04-12T13:44:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T20:44:13","slug":"ann-coulter-end-iran-war-trump-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/media-platforms\/politics\/ann-coulter-end-iran-war-trump-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Ann Coulter Calls for End to Iran War: &#8216;We Are Killing Little Girls&#8217; | Video"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p>In an interview with C-Span&#8217;s &#8220;Washington Journal&#8221; Sunday, conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter insisted the war in Iran should end because &#8220;we are killing little girls.&#8221; Coulter also insisted is &#8220;not a pansy when it comes to war.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coulter, who wrote the 2016 book &#8220;In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!&#8221; has waffled on her support for the president of late. After host Peter Slen asked how she felt about Trump, Coulter answered, &#8220;Not very happy with him! Not very happy at all.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"position:relative;overflow:hidden;padding-bottom:56.25%\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.jwplayer.com\/players\/z1OR5WHs-xS4RtpB7.html\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" title=\"Ann%20Coulter%20on%20Political%20News%20of%20the%20Day%20%7C%20C-SPAN.org\" style=\"position:absolute;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI think this Iran war is a fiasco,\u201d Coulter added. \u201cI thought it from the beginning, and I think it\u2019s hard for anyone to dispute that at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump&#8217;s single-minded focus on eliminating Iran&#8217;s nuclear abilities may encourage other countries to develop their own, she insisted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;If anything, the rest of the world has gotten the message now, \u2018Oh my gosh, we better get a nuke, develop a nuke, that\u2019s our number one goal for our entire country,\u2019 because, who is Trump\u2019s best friend?\u00a0Kim Jong-Il\u00a0of North Korea,&#8221; Coulter said. &#8220;And why is that? Even though he is a much more brutal dictator, he has weapons that are capable of actually reaching the West Coast of the United States. But, \u2018Oh, he has a nuke, so let\u2019s be really nice to him.'&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coulter criticized Trump&#8217;s claim that one of the objectives of the war was to &#8220;change the leadership&#8221; before she attacked a third supposed directive: &#8220;Now our sole objective is to open the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before he started bombing the crap out of them.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;And not to mention, I think a lot of bad things have come out of it. I am not a pansy when it comes to war, when we need a real war. But, this was an unprovoked attack. And we are&nbsp;killing little girls, Peter!&#8221; she exclaimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are associated with an ally that is just wiping the crap out of civilians, pharmacies, Trump threatening to end a civilization. This is a second-term president. This is not some weird fluke that this guy got in.
